This renovation reimagines a historic Hamptons shingle-style estate as a refined family retreat, carefully preserving its original character while introducing contemporary living elements. Encompassing 8,000 square feet, the project is approached with restraint, maintaining the architectural integrity, scale, and proportion of the existing structure.

New elements—including a pool and associated amenities—are carefully sited to avoid detracting from the serene views across open lawn and mature trees. The design prioritizes the landscape as the primary experience, allowing the setting to remain quiet, balanced, and uninterrupted.

The result is a residence that remains deeply rooted in its historic identity, shaped by a sensitive architectural approach that supports modern living while preserving the character and atmosphere of the original home.
